Outline Reminders While your outline asks for the page and paragraph number of the evidence, you will ONLY WRITE THE PAGE NUMBER in parentheses at the end of the sentence in your paper. The paragraph number in the outline is for your reference to find the evidence easily. You must use AT LEAST 5 pieces of QUOTED TEXTUAL evidence from EACH story. Since you are aiming for 800-1,000 words, you need to have more EXPLANATION than evidence. You must explain HOW the quoted evidence represents the literary element (character, theme, conflict, or mood). You must explain the CONNECTION between each piece of quoted evidence and your thesis. You must explain HOW the evidence relates to the aspect of community.
