The Americans with Disabilities Act makes it illegal for employers to discriminate against qualified people with disabilities. Refer to

Employers are obligated under the Americans With Disabilities Act to offer qualified employees reasonable accommodations that enhance their ability to perform the essential job task.

Individuals who require special accommodations must be able to discuss with the employer in the interview process why and how these accommodations are necessary.

Looking for a job can be stressful and requires a great deal of personal time and effort.

Showcase your skills and experience by accessing the following web site:

One step to job success is being able to do advanced research on the company or organization prior to the interview.

Marketing your skills and job knowledge will help you in your job search. Job Search

Tailor your resumè to the position for which you are applying. The resumè should be one to two pages in length. Highlight the objective statement, along with a description of your education, skills, and appropriate experience.

Use creative approaches in looking for a job. Research shows that 85% of all jobs are not advertised in newspapers or web sites.

Make a point to read the job announcements and tailor your presentation by the skills and qualifications listed.

Never be late for an interview. Tardiness is not acceptable. I’m running late!

The interview process is an opportunity for the interviewee to ask questions of the employer as well as to respond to questions from the interview panel.

Individuals who obtain success in finding employment opportunities should always bring to the interview a portfolio containing a copy of their resume, resume, letters of recommendation, references, references, and any documentation that describes individual accomplishments.

The primary objective of the interview is to demonstrate that you possess the knowledge, skills, and the abilities for the job.

After the interview process has been completed, send a short thank you note to the employer stating you will contact him/her by a specific date to ascertain the status of the job.
