First-Year Riders Rookie Hours in Brief –Rookie Requirements Early Fulfillment (Fall Semester) Complete 2 out of the 3 Little 500 Skills Clinics Participate in 2 out of the 5 Fall Cycling Races **Different from last year** Attend 3 out of the 8 remaining Friday Little 500 Group Rides Attend Rider Racing Safety Clinic*** (if you want to compete in TNRS) Pass the Rookie Exam with 85% or more correct answers Meet a minimum of 18 hours between Rookie Week and the race. –Rookie Requirements (Spring Semester) Complete Rookie Week with 100% attendance during available time Meet a minimum of 18 hours between Rookie Week and the race Participate in 2 Spring Cycling Races (Friday Night or Spring Series) Pass the Rookie Exam with 75% or more correct answers

Thursday Night Race Series September 24 th, October 8th, October 22 rd Bill Armstrong Stadium New events each night Schedule 6:00 p.m. Track Opens for Warm Up 6:00 p.m. Rider Check-In Opens (Armstrong Press Box) 6:50 p.m. Rider Check-In Closes 7:00 p.m. Races Start Race Nights will be separated into groups based on experience Categories 1-5 Must register on the IUSF website 48-hours in advance Each night will cost $10 No day-of registration First-year riders must attend Intro to Racing Clinic on September 24 th if they wish to race on the 8 th or the 22 nd

Fall Cycling Series Individual Time Trials Friday, October 23 rd, 4:00 p.m., 4 laps around the Little 500 Track Race against the clock on Little 500 bikes Street Sprints Saturday, October 24 th, 12:00 p.m., Kirkwood Avenue Drag racing on bicycles Bracket-style, double-elimination event Cyclocross Sunday, October 25 th, 1:00 p.m., Dunn Meadow Teams of two race an obstacle course on bicycles Men—30 minutes Women—20 minutes

Fall Cycling Series Register on the IUSF website $15 per event Registration deadline: TBD Overall Team Awards Teams that have at least 2 people participate in all three events are eligible to be scored in the team overall awards IUSF will add the lowest times of your fastest two teammates to determine the overall team winners Top 3 men and women’s teams will be awarded the chance to self pick the time they attempt to qualify for the race in March
