Why Harmonise? Core Principles Work-place based education around Wales Predominantly clinical experience enhanced with supplementary simulation Increasing responsibility in an assistantship model Frequent formative assessment/feedback Major NHS/Patient safety issues delivered in whole year groups

Clinical Placements 3 clinical blocks – 8 weeks each – Primary Care Clinical placement – Junior Clinical assistantship – Senior Clinical assistantship Elective – 8 weeks Shadowing – prior to commencing FY1
