11 A period in the final year where you can act as an assistant to a Foundation year doctor, working alongside them. Including participating in on-call Post exempting exam for most students, blocks 1-4 for European Studies students Student Assistantships

12 Course requirement Mainly run in blocks 5-8 but EO students will be in Block 2 or 3 Students will do 1 assistantship which will be pre-allocated SAs will be offered by MRI & NMGH as Teaching Hospital and Oldham, Fairfield, Tameside, Wrexham & Glan Clwyd as DGH placements
