SAC 3: COACHING Goal Setting Presentation

Instructions For SAC 3 students will be required to complete an oral presentation based upon Goal Setting in Coaching Each presentation will include the following……

Instructions 1. A Short Term Goal: Discuss your short term goal (sporting or non- sporting). Work through this particular goal using the “SMARTER” acronym

Instructions 2. A Long Term Goal: Discuss your long term goal (sporting or non- sporting Work through this particular goal using the “SMARTER” acronym

Assessment Criteria You will be assessed on: Knowledge of goal setting Ability to use “SMARTER” acronym Suitability of goals selected Oral presentation skills General presentation Any resources used to support the presentation

Assessment Criteria All speeches must be on at least 3 – 5 minutes in length. Each presentation will be marked out of 10. Bring along your notes or slides on a USB if you like so that you can make use of the electronic white board Be creative and put in some hard work!

Due Date This presentation will be due to be completed on: Thursday the 8 th of May *No “ifs” or “buts”…you are expected to present when called upon on this day. *Failure to do so will result in a ‘Not Satisfactory result being given!!!!
