InnoMaraton is a competitive innovation event The purpose is to help stimulate innovation in local companies through the inputs of new innovative ideas invented by students. In InnoMaraton-event, students from different units form teams with high variety of knowledge. Students do not know whom they would be working with before the event The companies participating in Innomaraton come from different lines of business Creativity, folly and happy learning The Innomaraton Concept

THE AUTHENTIC INNOVATION PROCESS

Since its inception in 2005 over 120 firms have participated in the event Over 1000 students have taken part in the innomaraton event. This year, students are innovating for 8 local municipalities in Lapland The innomaraton event lasts for 2-months but we also have one day to one week events
