Transcript, SAT and ACT tests, Social Security card If different, be sure to indicate an “A.K.A.” (Also Known As) reference Take the online application virtual tour

APPLICATION TIPS Use a Current Web Browser Free Downloads available from CSU Mentor or UC Pathways sites DISABLE Pop-up Blockers This is very important as much of the application depends on pop-up information. Check your account regularly. Adjust spam filters to allow bulk mail. Save your work using the “save/logout” button when taking a break.

APPLICATION TIPS Repeating to make up a “D” or “F” grade UC requires that you show every grade, including the “D” or “F” and the improved grade. CSU prefers that you only report the repeated, higher grade; don’t show the grade of “D” or “F”. Type of schedule? Indicate “SEMESTER” system. Under “Other,” type in “block schedule.”

Make a copy for your records

APPLICATION TIPS These are legal documents Be thorough and honest Changes in your class schedule after any change is made so your final transcript in June agrees with your application Have official test score reports sent directly to the universities to which you applied. AFTER YOU ARE ACCEPTED! Both CSU and UC require that everyone accepted still take a placement exams Might be waived with high enough scores on SAT Reasoning Test or ACT; EAP through STAR Testing; and/or AP exams. Watch your for placement test dates and test sites. (UC tests everyone on the same day in April so watch for their registration deadline).
