 His name was Mohammad Ali Jinnah.  Son of Jinnah Poonja  He belonged to a well-known family of India.  He was born on 25 th Dec 1876  Jinnah was educated at the Sindh Madrassat-ul-Islam  He studied law from London university.  Jinnah died on 11 th Sep 1948

 Jinnah formally entered politics in 1905 from the platform of the Indian National Congress.  By 1917, Jinnah came to be recognized among both Hindus and Muslims as one of India's most outstanding political leaders.  Demand for Pakistan  He struggled very hard to get a separate homeland for Muslims.

 All India Muslim league started the independence movement.  Students also participated in the making of Pakistan  14 th august 1947 pakistan was declared as independent state.

Jinnah told the nation in his last message on 14 August, 1948: " The foundations of your State have been laid and it is now for you to build and build as quickly and as well as you can".
