The key is to know about yourself, your interests, your skills, and your options. In order to be successful you must learn about your career choices and the decisions you make to reach them. Your future is in your hands You are in charge of your destiny It’s you who is in the driver seat of your future This activity will help you prepare for tomorrow. Once you find an occupation you may be interested in, you can start preparing for it.

With this information you will: Identify your interest areas, likes and dislikes. Make a list of 3 careers from your Interest Survey. From at least 2 websites, on the fastest growing occupations, record 3 occupations you may find interesting. Record 5 careers of interest, from Web Quest websites or Choices. You will pick one occupation from your career list and research the career. You will decide if the chosen career would be something you would not only be interested in, but would be good at? Why? You will make a multimedia presentation to the class in which you will orally introduce your chosen occupation and explain the research you have done.
