1 Welcome: Fact or Opinion
Description: This webquest allows the student to extend and apply his/her knowledge of fact and opinon. Grade Level: 2-3

2 Introduction First we are going to look at facts and opinions about pumpkins. Then, we are going to express ourselves by writing about what we know. Look at the link below to get some rules to follow when looking for facts and opinions.

Task Your task is to write two paragraphs about pumpkins using facts and opinions. Are you ready to practice? Look at the link below and discuss what facts and opinions you find. re=endscreen

4 Process Part 1: Students will look at a video on facts and opinions. The students will also look at a video on pumpkins and practice finding facts and opinions. Part 2: Students will explore different links on pumpkins and find five facts on pumpkins. Part 3: Students will use the five facts and write a paragraph using the 5 facts. Part 4: Students will then give their paragraph to another person and that person will write a opinion paragraph about the fact paragraph.
