TIDE Final Conference Cluster Systematic Transfer 15 th September – Marcel Meeuwissen, EMPOWER

Help us – help yourself – and get up to EUR

Start date: 1/5/15 Duration: 36 months Topic: MG Topic: Transforming the use of conventionally fuelled vehicles in urban areas 3 A 15%-50% reduction in the use of conventionally fuelled vehicles 30% increase in travellers' self-reported positive evaluation of urban accessibility and attractiveness 75% Customer/user satisfaction with the EMPOWER mobility service 10% response rate for vulnerable travel groups

Smarter transport choices Mode Time Share Stay Adapt Reduced use of CFV enabling carbon and energy benefits Positive incentives through technology The main objective of EMPOWER is to substantially reduce the use of conventionally fuelled vehicles in cities by fundamentally changing the mobility behaviour of their drivers and users. To achieve this objective EMPOWER will create a set of tools for industry, policy makers and employers. These will empower them beyond the lifespan of this project to understand, help choose and successfully implement ‘positive’ evidence-based and cost-effective policy interventions, based on new and innovative mobility services, and in the context of already existing infrastructure, policy and measures.

Positive Incentives and the use of ICT = Reflector Rewards Recognition
