3 ETC/CCA Consortium & Geographical Coverage 14 Partners

4 ETC/CCA 2014-2018 EEA multiannual objective in strategic area 1.4 Climate Change Impacts Vulnerability and Adaptation (CCIVA) informing policy development and implementation in the area of CCIVA by means of data, information/indicators and assessments Policy processes to be supported EU 2013 Climate Change Adaptation Strategy Main EU environmental, sectoral and other policies that require mainstreaming of climate change adaptation (e.g. 2020 Biodiversity Strategy, 2012 Water Blueprint, Water Framework Directive, Floods Directive, ICZM Strategy)

5 ETC/CCA 2014-2018 EEA multiannual specific objectives in strategic area 1.4 Climate Change Impacts Vulnerability and Adaptation (CCIVA) provide up-to-date information and indicators on impacts, vulnerability, and adaptation to climate change (including disaster risk reduction), and to provide access to Copernicus climate change information services in the European Climate Adaptation Platform, Climate ‑ ADAPT; support the implementation of the EU Climate Change Adaptation Strategy, including maintaining Climate-ADAPT and steering its development together with the European Commission; support countries with the reporting of data to the European Commission and the EEA; help policymakers plan and implement transnational, national, and sub-national (in particular cities) adaptation policies, and also to help monitor their implementation; support the development and monitoring of adaptation policies in the EU by addressing, with appropriate partners where needed, topics such as costs and benefits of adaptation; green infrastructure and spatial planning, transport and energy systems; and indicators for monitoring and evaluating adaptation actions implemented by the private sector.
