Ulcers A hole in your digestive tract Happen in stomach or small intestine (duodenum) Mucous lining eaten away and hole forms Acidic environment = pain Symptoms include: abdominal pain, blood in stool or vomit

Diabetes Pancreas stops creating the hormone that keeps blood sugar in normal range (insulin) High blood sugar: dehydration, brain damage, tissue damage in eyes, feet Low blood sugar: fatigue, dizziness, loss of consciousness, coma Can be regulated by insulin shots and diet 13% of adults – 40% don’t know
