Formatting Guidelines Limited fonts: Arial, Helvetica, Tahoma, Futura, Times New Roman, Lucidia Sans Avoid using white text or links because it’s difficult to view. Use only dark font colors. Limit of two colors. Should not scroll more than two screen lengths. Should not scroll horizontally. Graphics should be used judiciously. Size limitations to pictures: 980 pixels x 500 pixels. Publishing Guidelines Check pages regularly to ensure links are still valid. Time sensitive information, such as calendars, school events, etc. should at minimum be updated monthly. The following student information is ok to use on a web page with parent permission: Student’s picture or work with first name and last name. Posting Student Photos/Videos The Communications Department has verified that schools/teachers can post pictures on the web as long as they are in compliance with FERPA.
