EmpowHR In-sourcing Project Project Review Team Meeting Wednesday, May 11, 2011

1 Project Status CategoryActivity Transition Strategy Continued to update the detailed EmpowHR program roadmap to incorporate upcoming releases, migrations, special projects and recent in-sourcing decisions Worked with the Contracting Officer to release the current contract modification, current year transition task order and transition statement of work to Unisys – Contract negotiations underway Knowledge- Sharing Planned GESD/Applications Development onboarding training for Federal Staff, covering an overview of NFC organization, processes and systems - In Process Initiated planning of technical PeopleSoft training for current and new staff - In Process Responsibility Matrix Modified the responsibility matrix to incorporate recent changes to the future-state in-sourced model Stat for PeopleSoft Developed and tested the configuration management tool, Stat -In Process Modified the Stat implementation timeline to ensure adequate time for Stat testing and Release 9 deployment - In Process Organizational Design/Staffing Initiated posting of vacancies and screening of candidates for in-sourced organization Initiated use of strategic recruiting vehicles to meet the diverse staffing needs of the in-sourcing initiative (e.g. Job Boards, Campus Recruiting, etc.) Customer Communications Launched internet communications to inform NFC employees and customers of in-sourcing initiative. Conducted in-sourcing status meetings/discussions with various groups/stakeholders involved in the transition (e.g., HRAS Staff Update)

2 Project Next Steps Recruit and select Federal staff to support the in-sourced organization Finalize negotiations of the current contract modification, current year transition task order and transition statement of work to Unisys Finalize the onboarding, training and knowledge transfer sessions including agenda, facilitators and logistics Continue Stat testing and coordinate accordingly for go-live Deploy all employee memo regarding In-sourcing initiative Determine enterprise content management (ECM) tool implementation timeline, designate project lead and finalize Statement of Requirements for submittal to CIO Board Incorporate the in-sourcing project plan into EmpowHR Master Release Plan
