alternative colour option From Monday 4 April 2011, the new Neighbourhood Community Safety Service will be working to ensure safer neighbourhoods for Lewisham residents. The Service will provide an efficient and effective community safety service so residents can feel safe in a neighbourhood with low levels of crime, and anti social behaviour which is a priority for Bellingham. alternative colour option Lewisham Neighbourhood Community Safety Service

alternative colour option Aims of the Neighbourhood Community Safety Service The Neighbourhood Community Safety Service will: Work with all sections of the community and our partners to improve neighbourhoods and reduce crime and anti social behaviour Focus on reducing reoffending Work with Safer Neighbourhood Teams to improve enforcement Offer community events and local surgeries to give advice about crime prevention. We will be attending Bellingham Festival on 25 June. Support victims of crime and anti social behaviour by working with our different partners Develop projects and plans to focus on the Safer Lewisham Partnership’s crime reduction priorities, such as domestic violence and youth crime alternative colour option Lewisham Neighbourhood Community Safety Service

alternative colour option Meet the team The Neighbourhood Community Safety Service hold drop in surgeries across the borough. At these surgeries we ask you to tell us about the issues of crime and anti social behaviour in your neighbourhood that matter to you. We will tell you what we are doing with our partners to make your neighbourhood safer. The Neighbourhood Community Safety Service works closely with the Police Safer Neighbourhood Teams in three groups made up of different wards. Details of which team covers your ward are outlined below: North Locality:Evelyn, New Cross, Telegraph Hill, Brockley, Ladywell, Crofton Park Central Locality:Rushey Green, Lewisham Central, Lee Green, Blackheath South Locality:Forest Hill, Perry Vale, Sydenham, Bellingham, Whitefoot, Downham, Grove Park, Catford South alternative colour option Lewisham Neighbourhood Community Safety Service

alternative colour option Local surgeries Surgeries for Bellingham ward will be held: 12 July from 5 – 6.30pm At Bellingham Health & Leisure Centre No appointments necessary. We want to ensure that our surgeries are accessible to local residents. If this surgery time is not convenient for you, we would welcome your feedback.
