7 CHALLENGES Funding – 6% year on year savings
Police and Fire Reform – Performance driven, levels of uncertainty, loss of local decision making ASB – non statutory duty (exceptions such as abandoned vehicles) Need to link across strategic objectives e.g. Charter indicators do not form part of community safety or environmental strategies

8 CHALLENGES Difficult to quantify outcomes around ASB
Disproportionate correlation between reduction in crime and people feeling safer How do we ensure communities are engaged in decision making How do we ensure partner organisations have access to information and service provision (e.g. ASB e-forms, graffiti removal)
