1.1 Fitness for Life Physical fitness is the ability of your body systems to work together efficiently to allow you to be healthy and effectively perform activities of daily living.

1.1 Fitness for Life Health is the state of optimal physical, mental, and social well-being. Wellness is a state of being that enables a person to reach his or her highest potential; includes intellectual, social, emotional, physical, and spiritual health.

1.1 Fitness for Life Physical activity is movement using the large muscles of the body. Exercise is physical activity done especially for the purpose of becoming physically fit.

1.1 Fitness for Life The Cycle of Physical Activity Benefits is a diagram which shows that regular physical activity leads to improved physical fitness of which both provide benefits to health and wellness.
