Homework reading Students are expected to be reading at least 20 minutes every night. This helps with their reading fluency, and if parents are asking questions about what is being read, this will help with their reading comprehension.

Homework spelling words Students should be practicing their spelling words each night, in preparation for the test on Fridays. Nothing needs to be returned to school.

Homework Math Homelinks Math Homelinks are sent home each day, practicing the skill that we learned that day. Homelinks are not sent home on Fridays.

Parent-Teacher Communication is the best way to contact me, as I am able to respond much more quickly. If you do not hear from me within a day, please again to ensure I have received your . Sometimes, s get delivered into my spam folder. I will attempt to return voic s the same day, however there are limited breaks in the day to be able to return calls. Notes from home may be sent in your child’s homework folder, but please note that they do not always reach my desk.

We have four parties this year, and will be looking for volunteers to donate items and parents who are willing to volunteer to help assist at the parties. If you signed up to donate or help, you will be given a reminder prior to the party. Please sign up for your parent-teacher conference. If you can’t make one of the times on designated conference days, please sign your name on the other sheet and I will contact you to schedule a different date/time.
