Financial Audit Certificates Required from every ResistVir Contractor Period covered: 1 st February 2005 – 31 st January 2008 (3 years) What’s being audited; 1. Personnel Costs – verified through timesheets and payroll system 2. Travel Expenses – verified through receipts (Chalex task) 3. Other costs – verified through receipts, costs must be directly associated with the project. (for example, if you have purchased computer equipment, you must have used this solely for the project to claim full cost). Who is the auditor; Nationally Registered Auditor (EC specify details in ‘Guidance Notes’) in your country. When must Audit Certificates be provided; WAIT!!! March 2008 DO NOT provide these until instructed to by Chalex. REASON; only €1000 per contractor is provided for Audit Certificates. If your Audit Certificate is incorrectly, your organisation will have to pay for the 2nd Audit Certificate at their own cost.
