A word about this class… What this class is… This class is a SURVEY course about how technology at large, with special emphasis on how we can use information/communication/computer technologies, can enhance teaching, learning and the profession of teaching.

A word about this class… Everyone of you are at a different level in terms of your skills and knowledge about computer use and teaching. Please be mindful that I make every effort to meet the standards as defined by the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction If you are especially good at computer use, then you need to focus more on the aspect of using technology as a teacher and you need to help those around you who are not so good with technology.

A word about this class… If you are especially poor at using technology, you will have to work outside of class and seek tutoring on your OWN TIME so that you can keep up with the class.

A word about this class… What this class is not…. This class will not “make you” a(n) Server administrator, Computer programmer, Graphics expert, Systems engineer, or a Hacker.

Foundations Portfolio and Internship What is this portfolio? See the two example portfolios Required By NCDPINCDPI Demonstrates Student and Teacher Competency Should be started now and added to as you go through your internship.
