Virtual Labs Live, instructor-led class delivered conveniently at the desktop Hands-on activities, using live Lawson applications, are combined with Learning Accelerator simulations Other interactions: polls, break-out sessions, quizzes and realistic scenarios make learning fun and lasting Ideal learning solution for those in remote locations without access to training facilities New in EMEA – Smart Client Virtual Lab training will be delivered beginning in November 2007 Virtual Labs is an innovative way to deliver training online with a live instructor. If you do not have training facilities or need to train people in many locations then Virtual Labs will help deliver interactive and cost effective training for your people. Delivered online, participants can see an instructor who is also remotely based. The instructor delivers training in 2 to 4 hour sessions, with interactive exercises and simulations. The instructor can see how each person is working on their exerciseds and support and guide each participant. Has been piloted successfully in the US. Simulations in several forms to show your users the look and feel and process changes, to allow your users to try their hands on with the system, to test their process knowledge and to provide simulations to help guide the users in the live applications. Documentation in the form of user guides, job aides procedural manuals etc. to print out or store online for users to access. Because the training and documentation is developed from the clients own application environment the users learn on content that is 100% relevant to their world when they get onto a production system. This lets them get Lawson Smart – Fast! LA can work on any application environment or version of the software. M3 (v10, 11, 12, 7.1); S3 (v 8.0, 8.1, 9.0) iSeries, UNIX, Microsoft. The Simulations are Java Applets with HTML pages that any current java enabled browser supports. No plug in required. Easy to access and maintain. Simply place the files on a hard drive attached to a web server or similar to allow users to launch the simulations for easy access. While LA Developer requires training to learn all the capabilities and features it doesn’t require a high powered, highly skilled Java or HTML programmer to develop the content. Target a business analyst, subject matter expert, or an individual with go PC and communication skills and they can become the Learning Accelerator Developer. LA Developer can be used to develop training on any applications that the customer has in their company. The end users who access the content will need a license but once they are licensed they can access simulations for Lawson, Microsoft, Oracle, SAP any applications that they can run on their pc’s.
