TECHNOLOGY GOALS

 As an administrator, I will ensure that my staff and I use utilize current technology to cut down on paper waste and to ensure that students are given the opportunity to become proficient in the use of technologies that are being used in the global economy. It is imperative that the teachers be properly trained and invested in the benefits of utilizing such technology. I will ensure that all stakeholders feel secure in students using the technology by using monitoring software that keeps children from being able to use the technology inappropriately. VISION STATEMENT

 Make sure that teachers understand the importance and are on board with the implementation of technology. GOAL 1

 Find appropriate and affordable monitoring software and make sure that it is checked frequently.      Sessions.php?gclid=CO7M4Yvn-qQCFRpO5QodLUw3h w Sessions.php?gclid=CO7M4Yvn-qQCFRpO5QodLUw3h w GOAL 2

 Provide appropriate training to all teachers, aides and students on the proper use of the technology. To make the training cost efficient, the Instructional Technology Resource Teacher (ITRT) can provide training to teachers during scheduled faculty meeting or in-service training days. The students can be provided training during computer lab instructional time. GOAL 3

 Raise money through school fundraisers, donations from community businesses and individuals, and technology grants to purchase devices that were not able to be bought with provided technology funds. ml?gclid=CPjR-OHq-qQCFQ915Qod1QUAjw GOAL 4

 Continuously research and provide teachers with new and innovative ways to utilize the technology available to them. Have time for teachers to share with the rest of the staff ways they have used the technology and how well it worked for the students. GOAL 5
