Lightning thief-Sea of Monsters BY Rick Riordan

A really important place in both stories is Camp-Half-blood because both stories are based on getting there or doing something there. It is also the home of many half- bloods and is one of the only safe place left for half bloods.

Percy is the main character in the books. He is a very courageous kid that has a more complicated life then he knows yet. Annabeth is also a vary courageous kid that has a lot of experience with dealing with monsters. When Grover was trying to get her, Luke, and Thalia back to camp half-blood. Grover is a fateful companion that always is at Percy side and is on his own quest to find his lost god Pan.

These books all started out in a school, lets start with Lightning Thief, It all started off with a misfit named Percy that is almost killed by his algebra teacher and then he finds Grover his life long companion and Grover brings him to camp half blood. This is when Percy meets Annabeth and she helps him get around camp half blood and get some respect with the other campers.

Then soon after Percy is clamed by Poseidon and he is moved in to Poseidon's cabin. Then once again he is a misfit. After that, he was offered a quest and he goes to the oracle and is told a prophecy that changed his life. Then he starts his quest and he goes with fear at his back with monsters around every corner in to the underworld and manages to get in and out alive. Next right out side of the under world he is faced with his worst enemy, he faces Ares in a battle and wins that fight.

Then back at camp half blood he is finally faced with the prophecy, His friend Luke turns on him and tries to kill him but Percy makes it back alive. Starting in the Sea of monsters things settle down for a chapter or two then speed right back up again with a flaming dodge ball match. After that they go to camp half blood with a new friend names Tyson. Tyson is a Cyclops, he as a friend that doesn't really fit. Then Tyson is clamed by Poseidon and moves in with Percy. Then the team of Annabeth, Percy, and Tyson go to try to find their missing friend Grover.

So then they check in to CC’s spa and resort where Percy is almost turned in to a guinea pig. Then The team gets back on track and goes to get Grover and the fleece from the Cyclops. They barely get away alive with Grover and the fleece while the gigantic Cyclops throws boulders at them. Then Chiron gives them a hand and gets them back to camp half-blood.

Opinions I my self really thought that this was a really great series and it really was a really descriptive series with many fascinating details that really sparked the adventure and the heroics of the series.
