3 Who is a supporting character? Name: Annabeth Chase Age:15 Talents, Skills, Important Traits: Daughter of Athena, Can think of foreshadowing plans, knows secrets about the Greek God world. Three Descriptive Adjectives: Smart, Courageous, Secretive. “I wondered again why she had such a grudge against Cyclopes.” (Riordan pg.108 ph.2 ).

4 What is the story about? Setting (Time, Place, Environment, Etc.): Camp-Half blood, Islands, Ships Main Conflict: Percy must save Grover from a Cyclops, and stop Luke from bringing back Cronus.

5 What is one of the major themes? Definition of Theme: The main felling's of a person, place or thing. “I wondered again why she had such a grudge against Cyclopes” (Riordan pg.108 chapter. 2 ). “I want to go. I have to save Grover” (Riordan pg. 101 ph.5 ).

6 What is one important scene? When Percy fights 2 giant fire bulls that are the size of elephants. These bulls were attacking the secret magical camp Percy loves. It shows how determined Percy is to defend something he cares about

8 What connections can you make to this book? This book is like a show I use to watch, were a kid fights for what he cares about and always worried about his friends instead of himself. This is kind of like how Percy acts when he see’s something he cares about in danger, or in future danger.

9 Why should you read this book? The book will make you feel like you were there. Its full of mystery and suspense. Its a and ok book to read when you’re bored.
