2.  Percy Jackson: He is the main character. Percy was a misfit until who had gotten kicked out of six schools in six years until he learned about his family and became a hero.  Grover: He is Percy's best friend. Grover is a satyr ( half goat half man) and has been ordered to protect Percy with his life.  Annabeth : She is one of Percy’s good friends and come with him on his quest. Annabeth is the daughter of the god Athena and can be stubborn at times.

3.  Camp half blood: This is where half bloods go and learn to survive. It is important because it is where Percy goes when he learns that he is a half blood. Also Percy lives there in summer.  Western civilization (A.K.A America) It is important because it is where Mt. Olympus is and the entrance to the under world is.

4.  In the beginning Percy goes on a school field trip with his Greek mythology teacher Mr. Brunner when suddenly his algebra Ms. Dodds transforms into a monster and tries to kill him, but he vaporizes her with a bronze sword that Mr. Brunner threw to him. On the bus ride home for summer break Grover reveals to him about being a half blood. Once he gets home he goes on a vacation to Montauk when a bad storm hits and Grover shows up in Satyr form when suddenly they are attacked my a minotaur who kills Percy’s mom. Grover takes Percy to camp half blood and in a brutal game of capture the flag half blood style ( with swords, shield, and armor) Percy gets claimed by the Sea god Poseidon and becomes his son. Chiron A.K.A Mr. Brunner reveals to Percy his true form, a centaur. Percy then gets a quest from the oracle to retrieve Zeus’s master lightning bolt from the god Hades in the underworld. He brings Grover and Annabeth on the quest. Along the way they encounter many monsters and demons. Also they meet the war god Ares who gives them a bag. Also along the shore a water spirit gives him 3 pears which he can use to return to the sea. When they finally get to Hades he doesn’t have the bolt but he is missing his dark helmet. Percy and his friend use the pearls to return to the sea, on the beach Ares gets into a battle with Percy and loses. Ares then reveals the bolt and helmet are in the bag he gave them. Percy gives the helmet and the bolt back meets his father and his mother comes back to life. Back at camp one of his friends Luke tries to kill him and reveals his allegiance to the Titan lord Kronos.

5.  Percy goes to a new boarding school near camp and makes another friend named Tyson. He keeps having dreams about Grover being chased by a Cyclops in his new job looking for the nature god “Pan”. On the last day of school a normal dodge ball game turns into a battle against cannibal giants. Annabeth come and helps kill them and Tyson saves Percy from metal dodge balls. Annabeth takes Percy and Tyson back to camp which was under attack by bronze bulls. Tyson saves Percy from fire and reveals his heritage as a Cyclops. Clarisse daughter of Ares accepts a quest to get the golden fleece from the sea of monsters and save Thalia’s ( daughter of Zeus who got turned into a tree) Tree which makes a border around camp. At dinner Tyson gets claimed by Poseidon and becomes Percy’s brother. Percy Tyson and Annabeth ride water horses to Luke’s demon infested cruise ship, get attacked, and take a life boat to shore. They find Clarisse’s ship and get aboard. Soon the ship gets attacked by demons and Tyson saves them but drowns, well that’s what they think. Percy and Annabeth sail to an island spa where he is turned into a guanine pig but he gets saved by magical vitamins the thief god Hermes gave him. Annabeth and Percy hijack a pirate ship and sail to the island where the fleece and Grover are. The Cyclops Polyphemus attacks them but they get away with Grover and the fleece and they meet up with Clarisse and Tyson who lives by getting saved by the water horse. Everyone rides the water horses back to Miami and Clarisse flies back to camp on a plane. While the other four get ambushed by Luke but live by Chiron and his friend “The Party Ponies” who takes them back to camp. When the camp director Mr. D the wine god uses the fleece it works to well and Thalia get revived.
