What is diabetes? Diabetis is condition where the amount of glucose in your blood is to high because the body cannot use it properly. This is because your pancrease does not produce insulin or not enough insulin to help glucose enter your body's cell or the insulin that is produce do not work properly. Insulin is the hormone produced by the pancrease that allows glucose to enter the body cells. Where it is used as fuel for energy. So we can work, play and generally live our lives. This is important for our life.

Diabetes Glucose comes from digesting carbohydrate and is also produce by the liver. If you have diabetes, your body cannot make proper use of the glucose so it builds up in the blood and can't be used as fuel. There are two main types of diabetes. -Type 1 diabetes -Type 2 diabetes

DIABETES TYPES 1 DIABETES(INSULIN-DEPENDET DIABETES) -Body makes too little or no insulin. -In type diabetes, the body's immune system destroys the cell that release insulin, eventually eliminating insulin production from the body.Without insulin, they cannot absorb sugar(glucose), which they need to produce energy. TYPES 2 DIABETES(NON-INSULIN DEPENDENT DIABETES) -Body cannot use the insulin that it make. -The body is not able to use insulin the right away. This called insulin resistance. As Types 2 diabetes get worse, the pancrease may make less and less insulin. This is called insulin deficiency.
