In order to have my blog site show up on the search engine’s results (Indexed) I needed to find out more information on search engines. In my research I found “How to Get Your Website Indexed by Google”, Phase 4 Individual Project 2

This site is very informative and provides a step-by-step approach to get your site indexed by Google. It boils down to using a Site Map that contains all of your site page URL’s in the form of an XML document. This document is easy to create and the referenced site shows you how. I have mentioned my site to some of my associates at work, but I haven’t had anyone post a comment. In order to overcome this dilemma, I have posted my blog site on LinkedIn with an open invitation for any of my colleagues to pay a visit and leave a post. Linked

I have also found the capability within PowerPoint itself to make this presentation available on the Internet. In order for this presentation to work properly, the presenter needs to set a time. After each invitee accesses the site, the presenter will begin the slide show in real-time. Due to our class schedule and inability to coordinate a time that is mutually agreeable, I have included the instructions (see the next slide), but will post this presentation on my blog site.
