 Roman Catholic tradition has its beginnings in the very old writings of Hebrew and early Christian scriptures.  Roman Catholics believe that we must try to heal ourselves and get help if we are sick, but in the long run it is important to understand that everyone will die.  Roman Catholics Believe that when we are sick and we feel pain, we are over coming evil.

 The average of the 73,000nuns in the United states today is 69.  The Roman Catholic Church has traditionally opposed, and forbidden the open use of the Bible. It was first officially forbidden to the people and placed on the index of Forbidden Books List in 1229 A.D.  Rome’s have relaxed its restrictions and opposition against Bible reading in America.  The Bible is still widely with held and its distribution and free use discouraged in many countries which are heavily influenced by Roman Catholicism.

 Islam started in Saudi Arabia  People who follow the Islam religion are called Muslims.  The Holy book is call the Quran.  The person who the call there god is Allah.  True Muslims pray 5 times a day.  Muslims can not eat pork because it is said to be a dirty animal.

 Muslims major holiday is Ramadan.  Islam started 6000 years after Jesus died.  The symbol that the Islamic religion use is a moon crescent with a star it has been used to evoke feelings of joy, sadness, devotion, happiness or even to stand for beliefs and ideas.  There are more than 1 billion Muslims in the world.

 Christianity stated 2000 years ago.  Christians believe that Christianity started by a Jewish prophet named Jesus who was from Nazareth.  Christians believe that there is only one unique god.  Christians believe that god is the creator of every thing.

 Christians believe that Jesus Christ was born to a virgin mother who name was Mary.  Christians believe that Jesus Christ was crucified on a cross and nailed on his hand in feet.  Christians believe that Jesus was taken from the cross and wrapped in his white rob. He was put in a tomb and left there for 2 days and when people had come to pay there respect they saw that the tomb was open and Jesus body was not there.  It was said that Jesus rose from the dead.  Christians believe that Christ the messiah is going to one day return to the land he left and take the ones who do by him with him and he will leave the rest to parish.
