Key facts To date, the UNPFN had allocated over USD 44.4 million through 26 projects (closed / ongoing / pipeline) implemented by 12 PUNOs Contributions of USD 18 million from the UN Peacebuilding Fund Contributions of USD 26.5 million from the Governments of Canada, Denmark, Norway, Switzerland and the United Kingdom Harnessed the different types of UN expertise required for peace- building: from 4 PUNOs in 2007 to 12 PUNOs in 2010 Increased collaboration and joint programming among UN agencies: from 1 joint project in 2007 to 7 in 2011 UN Peace Fund for Nepal Strategic Overview 4
