Consequences 1 st Offense: Verbal Warning 2 nd Offense: Detention after school. 3 rd Offense: Telephone call home and a detention after school. Every infraction following the 3 rd will result in a telephone call home along with a written referral to Mr. Hough

7 th Grade Course Outline Grading : Tests and quizzes = 40% Tests can consist of fill-ins, multiple choices, matching and short answer responses. You will receive prior notice before any test. Quizzes can be given at anytime!

Grading: continued… Class work = 30% Homework/Worksheets: All assignments must be completed to receive full credit. Complete means that all questions are answered and all directions are followed exactly. Failure to do this will result in loss of credit. Active Participation: This means that when you are given a task, your sole focus is to complete that assignment, no exceptions. If we are doing a group activity, your discussion or work is centered on that activity only!

Wellness defined! Wellness has been described as the active process through which the individual becomes aware of all aspects of the self and makes choices toward a more healthy existence through balance and integration across multiple life dimensions (Corbin, Lindsey, Welk, & Corbin, 2002; Hermon & Hazler, 1999; Hettler, 1980; Lent, 2004; Ryff & Keyes, 1995; Witmer & Sweeney, 1992).
