New program called Sakai –Open-source –70 partner institutions, 5 UC’s Currently being developed for use at UC Davis –Faculty Training –Pilot program –Focus Groups Planned deployment Fall 2006

Why switch to Sakai? Few programmers for MyUCDavis Difficult to maintain Features are difficult to use Many features are not used
