This is based on the student’s Cost of Attendance, Pell Grant and Expected Family Contribution Residual Need = Cost of Attendance – Pell Grant – Expected Family Contribution Analysis was performed in order to determine the distribution of UTSA controlled aid that includes UTSA Grant, Texas Public Education Grant (TPEG), Texas Excellence Grant (TXEX), Other Grants and Scholarships more effectively to assist with the yield rate
