Biology Biology is the study of life. This course focuses on molecular and cellular aspects, including: – The molecular building blocks of life – Genetics and DNA – cellular structure/function – Reproduction – The energy pathways of photosynthesis and respiration Laboratory study applies critical thinking and classroom concepts through inquiry-based exercises.

AP Biology An inquiry-based, hands-on advanced study of biology. Topics covered include: – Ecology – Evolution – Cells – DNA – Plants and animals – Genetics Extensive laboratory experiences are student-led, yet teacher-guided. The AP Biology exam offers up to 2 semesters of biology credit.

Physics with Technology Physics is the study of interactions throughout the Universe. The tools of algebra, geometry, and creative thinking will be employed in this journey through matter and time. Specific topics covered include: – Matter – Newton’s Laws of Motion – Sound – Light – gravitational forces – Electricity

AP Physics 1 (Honors Physics) AP Physics 1 is the study of interactions throughout the Universe. The tools of algebra, geometry, and creative thinking will be employed in this journey through matter and time. An AP Physics test is offered at the end of the course equivalent to 1 semester of algebra based physics.
