What are the parts of a computer? MONITOR A monitor displays information in visual form, using text and graphics. CPU The central processing unit (CPU) acts as the "brain" of your computer MOUSE A mouse is a small device used to point to and select items. KEYBOARD A keyboard is used mainly for typing text SPEAKERS MODEM PRINTER Connects you to the internet Allow you to listen & play sounds Transfers data from computer to paper
