Products D OCUMENT F ACTORY Software- und Organisations-Service GmbH  Automation D OCUMENT F ACTORY is an application covering all document automation tasks. Documents (letters, contracts, etc.) are automatically generated per mouse click using a browser interface or Windows client.

Products PRINT O UT Software- und Organisations-Service GmbH  Management Output Management PRINT O UT : fully automated dispatch of all company document output (serial letters and individual daily correspondence) by Office applications. PRINT O UT collects documents from Windows clients. The documents are automatically consolidated in transfer packages. The packages are encrypted and then transferred to a service provider (partner companies of the Deutsche Post AG). The partner companies then handle the remaining steps: printing, enveloping, franking and mailing of the documents.

Products C ONNECTIVITY Software- und Organisations-Service GmbH  Integration C ONNECTIVITY interfaces integrate applications and systems on different platforms (Mainframe, Unix, Windows). In the client/server mode data is automatically processed, controlled and integrated. C ONNECTIVTIY interfaces are offered for JDBC, ODBC and COM.

Products Job Scheduler Software- und Organisations-Service GmbH  Scheduling Job scheduling is applied to the automation of all workflows for Solaris, Linux, HP-UX and Windows server systems. The Job Scheduler offers interfaces for the implementation of jobs with Java, JavaScript, VBScript and Perl. The job history, frequency and event driven job starts are recorded in SQL databases; the integrated graphical user interfaces offers features for workflow control and logging of individual jobs.

Services. Document Automation Software- und Organisations-Service GmbH  The SOS GmbH specialises in projects for the automation of document generation workflows. We carry out individual customer projects for document dialog processing with Windows and Web, as well as serial letters for batch processing, based on our D OCUMENT F ACTORY product. D OCUMENT F ACTORY is integrated into the company workflow and works on all standard platforms.

Services.Outsourcing of Output Management Software- und Organisations-Service GmbH  Documents which have been created with an Office text system are collected on a server and then consolidated in a database. Our product PRINT O UT organises the transfer of the documents to a service provider, such as the Deutsche Post AG and their partners. The SOS GmbH implements projects to enable business documents for automated output management. GUIs are implemented for monitoring document delivery and accounting.

Services.Open Source Technology Integration Software- und Organisations-Service GmbH  We use Open Source technology (e.g. PHP, Apache, OpenOffice, Tomcat, MySQL) and commercial products (e.g. Java, Oracle, SQL Server) to automate business processes. Projects have been implemented for larger companies, for example 25 German libraries take part in the Document Order and Delivery project in which their stock is offered to private and commercial users over the internet. A central accounting application for the Document Order and Delivery project was implemented using Open Source components: the efficient processing of more than orders per month - posting, billing and accounting - is achieved with a high degree of automation.

Services.Systems Integration Software- und Organisations-Service GmbH  SOS GmbH organises the reception and distribution of data between different IT systems. Support is provided for data exchange with simple data files and XML formats. Data transfers are automated between different platforms. Data deliveries are routed to subscriber systems according to individual workflow requirements. The Job Scheduler is a flexible and multifunctional tool for the implementation of workflow requirements: interfaces for programming languages such as Java or Perl allow the efficient implementation of jobs, definition of job chains and configuration management.
