eCommerce Solutions FedEx Ship Manager APIs FedEx API Server FedEx Server 2 Customer’s Computer (PC, Web Server, etc.) Internet 1 3 FSM API’s Transactions flow from customer’s computer over the Internet to FedEx. The data is decrypted and routed to the appropriate server within FedEx. The response is then encrypted and sent back. API: Application Programming Interface It is a technical solution that allows the integration of the FedEx systems for shipping, tracking, or other functions into a customer's software application (e.g. integrate API's into an eCommerce catalogue).

FedEx’s own private value added network EDI-based Business-to-business data exchange Shipping, tracking and invoicing data EDI allows the exchange of digital data between computers. It is not a special software, but merely a method for electronically exchanging data. FedExNet is our private value added network that customers can connect to in order to upload or download their shipping, tracking or invoicing data in a reliable and secure way. To get FedExNet: Customers must ship at least 10 pcks/day. A CTS/ACTI should confirm that this is the best solution for the customer.
