History Who Why How Celebrate Healthy Environment Day!

WV Stats…. WV is usually ranked the 3 rd or 4 th fattest state in the nation depending on what survey and data you use. WV is ranked 50 th (1 being low) by Tobacco Free Kids for its Adult Smoking Rate A key finding of concern from the 2009 HS YRBS was that “the percent of adolescents who report eating fruits and vegetables continues to decrease.” A key finding of concern from the 2009 MS YRBS was that “Middle school students have reported being less active while watching more television. They have also reported exercising less to lose weight.”
