Alcohol and Substance Abuse 35% drank alcohol within the last month 56% of the drinkers binge drank (5 or more drinks) on at least one occasion in the last month 11% rode in a vehicle with a drinking driver in the past month. Out of the people who consumed alcohol, 14% used illegal drugs in the past year 8% used illegal drugs in the past year

8. Nutrition and Physical Activity 62% exercised < 3 times a week for 20 minutes 37% ate fast food > 2 times a week <25% eat fruits, vegetables, and dairy products more than 8 X a week 1 in 5 drinks soda at least 8 X a week

15. Sexually Transmitted Diseases The number of reported gonorrhea cases has almost doubled from 2002 (292 cases) to 2003 (538 cases) Chlamydia is the number 1 reported communicable disease for the last decade with over 1800 cases reported last year
