4 Graduation Requirements Possible to graduate from high school and not meet entrance requirements for some post-secondary institutions Note OTHER category level credits to graduate –But, level credits for MUN All courses on ‘Link to Grad Requirements Sheet’ indicate the categories satisfied

Holy Spirit High School - Level I Course Offerings Courses vs. Credits All courses are followed by a six digit number: Third digit Third digit = level when course is generally taken: Art = first year English = third year Fourth digit = number of credits the course is worth: Phys. Ed = 1 credit French = 2 credits Science = __ credits A student takes 14 CREDITS not 14 courses per year!

Holy Spirit High School - Level I Course Offerings French Immersion Designation Students enrolled in the French Immersion program must meet at least minimum graduation requirements and attain six (6) credits in Français courses plus six (6) other credits in courses studied in French. Successful completion will be indicated on the diploma as FRENCH IMMERSION DESIGNATION.

16 Graduation Requirements In the current program, Literature and Language courses are combined into a two- credit course at each level. All students must complete (8) credits in Language as part of the required 36 for graduation. At least (6) credits must be in CORE English. Students will need to obtain at least one Optional language course (i.e. Literacy , English Writing , Drama , Theatre Arts (L), Novel Cinema (L)) or complete a French course.
