Project Background Sponsored by the Art Commission of the City of San Francisco, to produce a documentary in commemoration of the 75 th Anniversary on the construction of the Golden Gate Bridge

Project Objective Produce a 30 minute documentary on the construction of the Golden Gate Bridge in commemoration of the 75 th Anniversary of its completion. The documentary will be completed on January 5, 2012 within a budget of $200,000.

Assumptions SFCAC will be providing the funding for overall production Interviewees will be available as planned and scheduled Script will be provided Filming takes place during summer and fall months, thus avoiding weather related issues All equipment will be fully functioning Access permits will be made available prior to filming

Inclusion & Exclusion Inclusion – Concept Design – Storyboards Development – Production Crew: Film Crew and equipment rental Location Scouting: secure permits and permissions, studio rental Setup, service coordinator, janitorial, dismantling crews must be scheduled prior to the beginning of shooting: Character Interviews – interview script, travel accommodations B-Roll Filming Filming: HD quality Interviewees will be available as planned and scheduled All equipment is selected and on hand Location and time agreed upon by crew and guests Contingency plan for weather-related issues when shooting outdoors Post Production (Editing, Motion Graphics, Sound): Editing- includes one rough cut and one final edit Motion Graphics- includes animations and graphics Sound- includes voice enhancement and music development

Acceptance Criteria Film is 30 minutes long. Film features all the people selected by the SFCAC for interviews. Film follows scripting and sequencing put forth by SFCAC Content is PG rated Must be of HD quality
