1 What is pre production? The definition of pre -production is about preparing within specific job titles within the film or television industry before the final broadcasting and editing takes place.(basically researching and planning before you start the production on a film or television) With the task that takes place before producing or broadcasting – for example each member of the production crew is allocated a specific job such as researchers they would find out the different locations that could fit in for each individual shot. My own view on what pre production is ? I believe pre production is about preparing everything for example knowing where the location will be ?,how will the story/ narrative fold out, what will it look like? Does the script work with the cast, director e.g.?
