Wandsworth Borough Council Grants Peter Freeman

Active Wandsworth Club Development Grant Exclusively for Sports Clubs in Wandsworth who are applying for Clubmark Total grant of £500, two payments – receipt of application and on achieving Clubmark. Eligible Costs – coaching/officiating courses, equipment and admin officer costs Ineligible Costs – Coaching Fees, transport, affiliation fees, insurance and ongoing costs Completion of Form – Identify club’s development aims and gain support from National Governing Body

Active Wandsworth Sports Grants Fund Individuals – Under 21 Regional/National Level – up to £250 International Level – up to £500 Supports – specialist equipment, attendance at regional/national training camps, support to attend national or International competitions. Coaches – Must be associated with a club in the Borough. Grant supports 50% of the costs of gaining a UKCC Level 1,2 or 3 course or REPS accredited courses from level 2 upwards.

Big Society Fund Community grant scheme that supports new clubs or programmes Funding is available up to £5000 Eligible Costs – Equipment, essential building works, training, transport costs, venue hire, setting up of events Ineligible Costs – Existing activities and ongoing costs Each application needs support from the local Ward Councillor Round 5 deadline – 16 January 2013
