Plato created a school called the Academy. It is the cornerstone of today’s colleges and universities

Plato’s reason for setting up the Academy were connected to his early ventures into politics. He was disappointed with the standards in Public office, so he wanted to train young men who would become statesmen.

Plato’s educator was Socrates Plato’s student was Aristotle

Plato’s real name is Aristocles but he later changed it. He was born in Athens, Greece.

The importance of Plato’s dialogues was recognized almost instantly by everyone Plato’s works go under two categories: The letters and the dialogues

Plato’s philosophy and literary accomplishments extend over a period of 50 years His works were divided into three periods, Early period, Middle period, and the Late period.

Although some people didn’t agree with what Plato did, Plato was and always will be one of the greatest philosophers of all time.
