Who can TAG and who cannot TAG Only students transferring directly from a California Community College are considered for a TAG, including international students (those with a visa). The University of California defines a CCC transfer student as one who has completed over half of their units at a CCC. All UC TAG campuses require students to meet this definition. Students who have already earned a bachelor’s degree, graduate degree, and/or professional degree CANNOT participate in TAG. Students who have previously enrolled at a UC campus during a regular term (not including summer session) CANNOT submit a TAG application to return to that campus.

UC-TAG The TAG tool is available now All UC campuses will use: The online UC TAG application Self-reported academic information Filing Period & Term September 1-30, 2011 *TAGs accepted for Fall quarters only *UC MERCED will accept Fall & Spring TAG

How to pursue TAG Fill out an online TAG application and review it with your community college counselor and/or UC campus TAG advisor.TAG application When your TAG is approved, fulfill all remaining coursework and GPA requirements in your TAG agreement. Apply for admission to UC during the appropriate filing period. Apply for admission to UC **Both TAG and Admission Application must be submitted in order for TAG to be valid

Fall 2012 TAGs You may submit a UC TAG Application to only ONE of the seven participating UCs. Though limited to one UC TAG application, you may apply to all UCs of your choosing during the regular process in November using the UC application for Undergraduate Admissions and Scholarships.

UC-TAG Why is it more than an application? Self-service advisement within the TAG application More effective and timely communication between the student and their TAG campuses/community colleges Improved communication between UCs and the community colleges Reporting capabilities for community colleges
