You take the train... You make a phone call, “I will arrive at 5.20”

Some passengers work on their laptops... In a few hours you will be in front of Big Ben in London!

TODAY, the bus, the plane, the cash machine, the train, the mobile phone, the personal computer ARE COMMON! 2 CENTURIES AGO, to think of getting to London in a few hours WAS IMPOSSIBLE!

All those inventions come from a changing period called... THE INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION!
