Types Of Bats There are two kinds of bats, Megabats and Microbats. They eat different kinds of things.

HERBIVORES Megabats are herbivores. There are two species of megabats, flying foxes and the old world bats.

POLLEN Megabats eat nectar and a sticky yellow powder called pollen.

BLIND Many people think that bats are blind but they can see quite well in the daytime.

CARNIVORES Microbats are carnivores. Microbats eat fish, scorpions, lizards and birds.

VAMPIRES Some microbats hunt insects. Vampire bats drink blood from animals.
