2. Bats sometimes have strange bodies. They have long fingers on their wings. Their ears are big to hear their echolocation. Their feet are so small their smaller than a mouse! Their nose looks like a pig nose only smaller. And when their wing rips it quickly grows back.

3.  Bats live everywhere in the u.s.a. In texas there are 32 species. In maine there are 8. in arizona there are 28 species. In michigan there are 10 species. They can live in trees, caves, any vent at home, mines, under bridges, and bat houses.

4.  Most bats eat insects, but they eat other foods too. Fruit bats eat fruit. Vampire bats drink blood and sometimes they eat fish, meat, and nectar. Vampire bats do not drink human blood. It seems easy to catch their food, but its not. They have to first wait till night. Then decide where to search. Then use echolocation. then catch their pray and dig in!
