Creative Multimedia Content Strategy 1 2 3 To focus on local IPs (or Co-Produced IPs ), local facilities and services as the basis for revenues and export generating activities, as well as for up scaling to regional and global status, for our MSC CMC companies To focus on creating an environment where investments can be secured from non-traditional sources for the development of locally produced IPs (or co-produced IPs) A focus on the whole creative multimedia value chain to reinforce the value add provided by CGI for all media sectors (e-Learning, Business Information, Training Content, TV Distribution, etc) - this means a focus on Games, Animation, Mobile Content and Film & TV as “pizza base” (toppings created at the Biz Dev Unit).

Services provided by MDeC MDeC (Multimedia Development Corporation) is the one-stop developmental agency mandated with the implementation of MSC Malaysia Facilitation (Immigration, Foreign KWs, Business Advisory etc) Financial Assistance (R&D grants, certification subsidies and incentives) Technical Assistance (MAC3) Market Access & Biz Dev. (Foreign Trade Missions, Business Matchmaking, Demand-Supply Matching) Capability Improvement (R&D grants, certification subsidies and incentives) Human Capital Development (Knowledge-worker Development Institute) Facilitation: 1) Work permit processing for Foreign Knowledge Worker – 8 working days, can be done online Human Capital Development: 1) Undergraduate Program (Internship program) - provides reimbursement of RM500 per intern to companies for hosting industrial attachment for 6 months 2) Graduate Trainee Program - Incentive to MSC Malaysia status companies who hire fresh graduates; Reimburse RM500/month/trainee up to 6 months to cover the cost for training fresh graduates; Target: Fresh graduates Financial Assistance: 1) STAR grant – maximum fund of RM7.5 million for approved research projects Promotion Nurturing & Development 10
